compaction trigger --wait-timeoutdid not interrupt pending status requests or poll delays, so either could overrun the wait budget. Apply an overall context deadline to the waiter and its requests, while preserving shorter per-request timeouts. Adds regression tests for blocked requests, poll delays and JSON command output.Tested on macOS arm64 with Go 1.27.1:
go test -race -count=1 ./...,go vet ./...,go build ./...,gofmt -l .andgit diff --checkpassed. Regression tests reproduced the timeout overruns before the fix. Linux CI and the GoReleaser snapshot have not been run locally.
