Summary

Documents AC0034 as opt-in: Info severity (page severity Hidden, the convention for disabled-by-default rules), new title "Register a Telemetry Logger in this app", and an index row of Info / not enabled.

  • Opens with the intent: every app carries its own Telemetry Logger regardless of which other apps from the publisher are installed.
  • Explains the mechanism: per-publisher lookup on every call, any installed app of the publisher may register, first registration wins, the logger app's connection string receives the event, warning 0000G7K when none.
  • Notes that BC 25.0 removed the duplicate-logger warning 0000G7J.
  • Replaces the pragma example in Exception with a "Why the rule is disabled by default" section (a shared logger in one app per publisher is the model Microsoft documents) and an "Enable the rule" ruleset snippet, as on AC0033.
  • See also: Feature telemetry (Learn), Codeunit "Telemetry Loggers", BCTech FeatureTelemetry sample.

The AC0033 index row on main is already Info / not enabled, so it needed no change.

Test plan

  • npx markdownlint-cli2@0.23.2 "content/docs/analyzers/ApplicationCop/*.md": 0 issues
  • Learn and GitHub links return 200; the quoted sentence is on the Feature telemetry page

Analyzers PR: ALCops/Analyzers#586
