ADR 0018: on nodes with systemd the heartbeat agent is installed by esapp in /opt/edgeshell/apps/heartbeat with its own venv (no apt packages), service and user es-heartbeat, the node's keys and login in its private data folder; updates switch atomically and roll back by themselves; its package is built reproducibly and kept in the Apps bucket. A classic install is moved over by the routine: the classic agent stops only for the switch and is removed once the new one runs, or starts again. Agent 1.3.0 bundled. esapp fix: a reinstall of the running version left the app folder root-only (found on a real node). New CI test on a Debian 12 systemd node with a real broker, 18 checks. 388 tests locally.

the app folder root-only; packages are reproducible.
