1.16.0: apps on the edge: one folder, one service, versions side by side, a way back - #66

…ide, a way back esapp installs any app into /opt/edgeshell/apps/NAME with its own systemd service, user and venv; a new version is switched atomically and reverted by itself when it does not stay up; the newest three stable versions always stay. The Apps page keeps every package for the audit, rolls out canary first and stops by itself, and shows and manages each node's versions. Deploy Files writes only to ~/Downloads/edgeshell. Folders are pass-through only, versions root:es-NAME and group readable, data 0700 for the app user, esapp, OTA copies, scripts and units root only. Refusals shown in the UI are esapp's own sentences, never library text. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
Install, the atomic switch, the automatic way back, rollback, the stable rule, cleanup limits and removal, on any Linux runner (the real node test stays in the esapp CI job). Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>

esapp (ADR 0017, docs/APPS.md) installs any app into /opt/edgeshell/apps/NAME only: its own systemd service and user, its own venv, read-only code, data kept across versions. A new version is built beside the running one, switched atomically and watched; if it does not stay up the previous version comes back by itself. The newest 3 stable versions always stay; one-click rollback, switch, cleanup, exact removal; each version carries install/rollback/uninstall scripts. New Apps page: a bucket that keeps every package for the audit, canary-first rollouts that stop by themselves, each node's versions, the audit. Deploy Files writes only to ~/Downloads/edgeshell. New CI job on a real Debian 12 systemd node (22 checks). 386 tests locally, 160 browser checks on the new pages.
