From 99a64fcfbe6db015647b274d62c52321e26ad14c Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: "Rob S." <16664094+R34SGA@users.noreply.github.com> Date: Thu, 22 Oct 2026 11:00:14 +0200 Subject: [PATCH] Add panel descriptions clarifying availability vs enabled state The "Virtual Server State isAvailable", "Virtual Server isEnabled" and "Virtual Server Availability [24h]" panels on the Device Virtual Server dashboard had no description, so the difference between runtime availability (pool member health) and administrative enabled state was not discoverable from the UI. Fill the two empty description fields and add one for the 24h panel so the info icon appears on the base view. --- .../dashboards/bigip/device/device-virtual-server.json | 5 +++-- 1 file changed, 3 insertions(+), 2 deletions(-) diff --git a/services/grafana/provisioning/dashboards/bigip/device/device-virtual-server.json b/services/grafana/provisioning/dashboards/bigip/device/device-virtual-server.json index 9610448..61fa7c1 100644 --- a/services/grafana/provisioning/dashboards/bigip/device/device-virtual-server.json +++ b/services/grafana/provisioning/dashboards/bigip/device/device-virtual-server.json @@ -380,7 +380,7 @@ "type": "prometheus", "uid": "${datasource}" }, - "description": "", + "description": "**Availability (isAvailable)** reflects the *runtime health* of the virtual server, determined by the state of its pool members.
