How do I use my own customised EZA theme in Omarchy Quattro

Before the upgrade to Quattro I was using a Nord theme for Omarchy but my own cusomised eza theme alongside it . Since the upgrade Ive been unable to find a way to do this and am stuck with the eza theme that the nord theme uses by default. Is there a solution to this ? Thanks.

Quattro isn’t selecting a separate Nord theme for eza. Omarchy removed its eza-theme switcher and bundled eza.yml files in favor of eza’s ANSI colors, so the colors now follow the terminal theme.

You can still override eza independently by restoring your own file:

mkdir -p ~/.config/eza
cp --remove-destination /path/to/your/theme.yml ~/.config/eza/theme.yml

Current Omarchy no longer manages that file, so switching Omarchy themes won’t replace it. If it still looks Nord, check EZA_CONFIG_DIR and the LS_COLORS, EZA_COLORS, or EXA_COLORS variables; the directory variable changes which file eza reads, while the color variables take precedence over theme.yml.

I've tried the above to no effect and all the above variables are empty. I tried pointing the EZA_CONFIG_DIR to the eza theme directory but also to no avail. i did find where the ls alias was listed and added " --colors=never" to the alias which resulted in no colors being displayed when using ls.
