From f9b6428c14d682a0b5593ae7a40644bd40ee3444 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Joel Ray Holveck Date: Tue, 29 Sep 2026 16:38:12 -0700 Subject: [PATCH] Python 3.14 is no longer dev; 3.15 is rc Additionally, 3.15 is now producing release candidates, so we can test against those. I've already run the tests workflow, and it is passing on 3.15-dev (3.15.0-rc.2). As PyTorch doesn't yet have releases for 3.15 on Windows and macOS, we don't test it there. I'll note that our Ubuntu image (ubuntu-latest) will change from Ubuntu 24 to 26 on October 19, 2026. I don't anticipate any problems, but just wanted us to know that's happening. --- .github/workflows/tests.yml | 6 ++++-- 1 file changed, 4 insertions(+), 2 deletions(-) diff --git a/.github/workflows/tests.yml b/.github/workflows/tests.yml index ce491f78..ac65fe26 100644 --- a/.github/workflows/tests.yml +++ b/.github/workflows/tests.yml @@ -75,7 +75,9 @@ jobs: - name: CPython 3.13 runs-on: "3.13" - name: CPython 3.14 - runs-on: "3.14-dev" + runs-on: "3.14" + - name: CPython 3.15 + runs-on: "3.15-dev" steps: - uses: actions/checkout@v7 - uses: actions/setup-python@v7 @@ -98,7 +100,7 @@ jobs: if: matrix.os.name == 'linux' run: python -m pip install torch --index-url https://download.pytorch.org/whl/cpu - name: Install PyTorch (macOS/Windows) - if: matrix.os.name != 'linux' + if: matrix.os.name != 'linux' && matrix.python.runs-on != '3.15-dev' run: python -m pip install torch # TensorFlow stable (as of this June 2026) only supports up to Python 3.12; see # https://www.tensorflow.org/install/pip#software_requirements
